Looking for rehearsal space for one or two days in New York , does any one have any ideas? We're a touring theatre co. just starting out with a few productions under the belt and a few feathers in the cap
(not enough to fly) and looking for rehearsal space (consistent).
Any ideas? Schools? Old buildings? Churches?

Hey, what's up Max: Man, I love this site! It's like a library for those of us in the literary and arts realm. Just wanted to say, I am wholly in agreeance with you in re of QUEEN SHEBA! There's a lot of talented poets out there (I'd like to include myself as one of them), GEORGIA ME (G.A.M.E.) , QUEEN GODIS, CLIMBING POETREE, HELENA D. LEWIS ,DAMN....I could go on but I've got some writing to do of my own this evening. Queen Sheba is simply accessible, I had contacted her a month ago (as well as GEORGIA ME ) in re of getting involved with my spoken word production (which I am trying to get produced as an Off Broadway production and independent film....no comparison to Def Jam) GHETTOETRY (Get-toe-uh-tree) and they both have shown interest in getting involved. Wow, to have both of these poetic enigmas on stage would be like JILL SCOTT and ERYKAH BADU
on set at DAVE CHAPPELLE'S "BLOCK PARTY" movie, ASTOUNDING!
My point is this: That both of these beautiful and talented sisters are well deserving, their accessibility to their colleagues and audiences,
concern for their communities is what makes them truly beautiful
people. Vanity is the enemy of the poet.... QUEEN SHEBA, I love her style, individualism and her warmth is felt through all of her work.
EVEN HER EMAILS MAKE YOU FEEL LIKE THRIVING!
Yeah, she represents the real poets, the ones who sweat, bleed and breathe poetry.

If you have a venue, just listing it here on the front page makes you easily accessible. Whether your seeking artists or an audience, it's a win win situation.

For artists or just plain folk looking for a nice place to visit in or out of town. Simply click the icons on the right and see what's available.
