You are an ambitious young lady, your drive,determination and ambition will get you far. As I had suggested to my son, there's a lot of oppurtunities out there for the youth today. More so than when I was your age and if there were knowone guided us along. Here you go, INTERNSHIPS: Will provide you with the knowledge and skill that you'll need for college, some provide you with College credits and some cash on hand depending where you apply. You're on the right path as it is...let's keep you there. Continue to build you resume and obtain letters of reccomendation. Contact local establishments that share your interest , News Papers, Magazines (they alway's have a need for interns) , publishing and film companies, local television stations. You're going places dear, I see that you have a burning desire and I'm willing to help. It's my objective to see you and other youths in our communities
succeed!

I'm lookin to do a lot of things with it. Now I'm trying to make some money for school and allz, they raised tuition and all this shiz, rough times so I'm looking for scholarship programs and all of that. So if I write something I'm looking to make sure it's worth a couple of dollars too, along with it being relieving to my soul and hopefully its readers as well. But about that poem, the line, "I promise to sacrifice the rest of my life" I thought I worded it in a way to mean almost the same thing as you suggested. Sacrificing the rest of my life, I did't mean to say myself per-say. So I need to be careful the way I word things.

A story sounds too epic for my skills.... I've written like... 2 stories in my life, I can say I failed miserably... But hey, I gotta check out one of yours someday. No doubt. I'm looking forward to that. And don't forget no matter how long the poetic journey is, it's never really lonely for the writer. There's always something there to write about. A writer can be inspired by silence and make it his dearest friend by making it a passionate painting of words. A writer can do that with anything, so he or she, is never alone. 8D Pretty cool right? Tell us about yourself: Writer, screen and play wright, published author and columnist founder and director of THE NUE LIBERATION THEATRE (A theatre 4or social change) which is a touring theatre. Spoken word performance artist, producer. Currently in the process of staging my original spoken word production GHETTOETRY, looking to collaborate with like orginizations to produce as Off Broadway production as well as independent film. Also planning to shoot an original screen play URBAN POETS and alway's looking for committed individuals/seeking to form an executive board to open as a non profit theatre company and begin fund raisers for the projects. Looking to stage my next production @ THE NUYORICAN POETS CAFE hopefully in June and anywhere else I can get in. I am seeking individuals in the urban community whom have witnessed the challenges first hand of loss, violence and the sadness of the ghetto and stories of those who have made it from the crushing
negativity that we sometimes are faced with in our every day lives.
