He is like the elements,
The simple good in hectic events.
The simple things in life I hold dear,
What is pure and above all sincere.
He is like the gentle rain seeping through my clothes,
He's like the placid wind whispering as it blows.
Modest as the gallantly colored skies,

He is an element, the base of all that lives,

and the situations/charecters we create.... true indeed. Thanks for the tip....(lol) . Now you said that you failed at your attempts,
no...actually you did'nt. What you've done is created limbs for your story to move around....sometimes even a good title and a few clever sentences and situations can very well put you back in the writers seat. So save the work, even if a few pages that have been scribbled in one of your note books, or a shopping bag.... save it and use it again for the body of the new work. Some great books take several years to write you know.
In the meantime, wishing all the success and blessings! It's good to see that some of our youth are doing positive and amazing things in their lives! I'm starting up a teen poetry group shortly after I get "GHETTOETRY" off the ground and will be putting together a journal of art/ poetry/short shorts/ photogrhaphy
for youths from ages 14 -21 from communities that are lacking cultural diversity in the arts. More on that on myspace.
