Roxanne has co-curated the Sunday afternoon poetry reading at The Back Fence with legendary Beat poet Brigid Murnaghan and has occasionally subbed for Jackie Sheeler as host of the Pink Pony West Reading Series at The Cornelia Street Café. She now hosts the Son of Pony Reading series the second Friday each month at The Cornelia Street Café and continues to produce “8 Million Stories” at various venues in NYC including Telephone Bar, Tribes Gallery, and Jimmy’s No 43 Stage.

Her poetry can be heard during the 50-minute independent film, Love and the Vampire, directed and produced by David Gold and Rick Poli, and shown at The Arlene’s Grocery Picture Show's 2005 Festival and has been aired on cable (Poetry Thin Air, The Art House Show), UHF-TV (The New Yorkers), WKCR FM NY (Art Waves), and Live365 web radio (Eadon's Place).

A fixture on both the NYC & NJ Poetry Circuit, this native New Yorker, now married and living in Hoboken NJ, spends much of her time shuttling back and forth across the Hudson in search of an audience. She’s been even known to pop up at NYC comedy clubs and on the sets of independent films. After a 20-year stint on Wall Street, Roxanne left the world of corporate finance to return to her first love -- writing poetry. She joined The Riverside Poets, a writing workshop and group of kindred spirits led by Arthur Bitterman, contributing to their annual chapbook and participating in their group readings at the Riverside Branch of the New York Pubic Library, the Westside Artists Coalition and in Central Park at Charles A. Dana Discovery Center.

She opened for the Poetry in the Park 2004 Fall Series at the Charles A. Dana Discovery Center in Central Park and for The Art House’s Day-Long Poetry Installation at the Victory Hall Cultural Center during the 2004 Jersey City Artist Studio Tour She has featured for Saturn Series, Poet-to-Poet, ArtKore’s Welcomed Words, Poetic License, and at such popular NYC venues as the Bowery Poetry Club, The Cornelia Street Cafe, The Back Fence, A Gathering of the Tribes, and Telephone Bar. In 2006 she curated a month long exhibition and series of performances celebrating National Poetry Month, “Through The Eyes of a Poet: A Photography Exhibition of Poets Photographed by Poets" at Tribes Gallery.

Still trying to reconcile writing poetry and making money, she curates Poets Wear Prada, a website designed to promote poets, their readings and their poetry ; she and her husband, a retired Hollywood agent own a small press by the same name.

POETS WEAR PRADA is a small press based in Hoboken, New Jersey devoted to introducing new authors through limited edition, high-quality chaplets, primarily of poetry.

New press, great authors, a publisher who is one miracle short of sainthood. - Angelo Verga, Poetry Curator of The Cornelia Street Cafe

Poets Wear Prada is a poetry publishing house with excellent poets and affordable books with beautiful covers. Have you had your poetry today? - Meredith Sue Willis, Books for Readers

Stylistically, these beautifully designed and produced chaplets bear their own distinctive signature. - Linda Lerner, Small Press Review
